I don't know why exactly my fixation on Iberia has come about, but for about a year now, everything about this part of the world has been percilating in the back of my head. The history, the culture that history informs, the ways it's changed through time and the way it is now, all deeply fascinating to me. This book encapsulates that desire I've had to learn more about Spain and delivers it in an interesting, engaging read.
